Boomeranger Boats Oy is displaying one more open version of the proven Boomeranger RIB C-1100 at the Helsinki Boat Show 12.-21.2.2010. Equipped with 2 x 350 hp Yamaha F350 V8 outboard engines the boat will achieve top speed of over 50 knots even though the hull is a very deep V to guarantee seaworthiness in the toughest conditions. The boat has extensive accessories for high speed transport and search and rescue activities: 13 Ullman Biscaya suspension seats (removable on the fore deck), Flir infrared camera, powerful searchlights, Intercom, 2 x Raymarine E120 GPS-radarplotter with thouch screen, Raymarine 4 kW HD-digital radar, Raymarine AIS250 receiver, Ray218E DSC VHF  with hailer, Raymarine DSM300 echo, electric bow winch etc.

Since the foundation of the company in 1991 Boomeranger has paid special attention into the correct dimensioning the hull and transom structures for the heavy use and high speed of the boats. Boomeranger Boats is now joining forces with VTT Technical Research Center of Finland (http://www.vtt.fi/?lang=en) and the Finnish Coast Guard (http://www.raja.fi/rvl/home.nsf/pages/index_eng) to do an extensive study into the transom plate forces of this boat.
