The Company
Boomeranger Boats Ltd. is founded 1991 and has specialized in designing
and building Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) of highest quality. Designed
by Naval architects and built by professionals for professionals, these
boats are developed in Finland for use in some of the harshest marine
environments.
Products
Our boats vary in size from 5 m to 14 m and from one man center console
versions to cabin RIBs with berths. We also make custom designs for specific
needs and enviroments.
Customers
These boats are intended for professional use, such as Military and Paramilitary,
Search and Rescue, Fire Departments and Police personnel.
Quality
A lot of attention is paid to guarantee the highest quality. Craftmanship,
parts and materials of only the very best quality are used. For example,
to guarantee strength, safety and a long lifetime no wood is used in beam
or deck structures. Hull structure is massive laminate, often with triaxial
reinforcement. Highest quality tubes only made of Hypalon / Neoprene are
accepted to our boats. Some models are built and certified to Solas/Med
Fast Rescue Boat rules.
Special solutions
We have developed Polyethylene (PE) hulls for some models especially for
rugged use where the hull is frequently exposed to rocks and other hard
shocks. Also some particular military needs have been catered for.
Quality system
All of our products are built under a strict quality system developed
for us. MED Module D Works Approval was given in June 2000 and full ISO
9001:2000 Quality System in September 2002 (Sertificate no 115998). Our
shipyard fullfills also NATO AQAP-120 production quality assurance requirements.
Flexibility
We are specialized to make RIBs for professional use. Therefore we co-operate
with our customers to design and implement optimum solutions for their
needs. We do custom designs within our product range to fit our customers´
needs.
